DVD Engineering Services is a BBBEE Level 2 Company in Northern Cape, Kuruman, South Africa. We specialise in providing Employment Services to various Clients in the Northern Cape for positions across a broad range of industries.

Dion van Dyk started the business in 2000 and was originally known as EMS cc. The need to pursue his dream to become an entrepreneur was enhanced by retrenchment in 2000.

In 2001 Dion van Dyk’s wife, Lyn van Dyk, join the company to assist with the rapidly growing business. During 2003 the close corporation, EMS changed to a private company, to prepare the entity for shareholding and the name changed to DVD Engineering Services (Pty) Ltd.

With the implementation of the B-BBEE Act of 2003 the company was of the first to transform to BBBEE by establishing the DVD Employee Trust, with 26% shareholding in the company, during 2003. It is with utmost pride and joy to mention that our Director, Kamogelo Edith Chere, started with the company in July 2010 as a cleaner in our offices. Her potential was noticed and in August 2010 she become an office administrator.

She rapidly grows within the company was later appointed as Temporary Employment Services manager. Today she is a director with a 25% shareholding in the company.
